  1. Edit the Post/Page:
    • Go to your WordPress dashboard.
    • Navigate to Posts or Pages.
    • Click on the post or page you want to edit.
  2. Locate the Excerpt Box:
    • Scroll down to find the Excerpt box. If it’s not visible, click on Screen Options at the top and check the Excerpt option.
  3. Edit the Excerpt:
    • Enter or modify the text in the Excerpt box.
  4. Update/Publish:
    • Click Update or Publish to save your changes.

This will change the short description that appears in places like search results or archives.
